TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, attending, or participating in any class, session, workshop, or service provided by Oneday Pilates (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms apply to all services delivered across indoor locations, outdoor locations, and public or shared spaces operated or utilised by Oneday Pilates.
2. Pricing & Payments
All prices are in Australian Dollars. GST is included where applicable and will be stated.
Payment is required at the time of booking via our website or our booking system.
We reserve the right to change prices, timetables, instructors, or services with reasonable notice.
Failed or declined payments may result in automatic charges, suspension of bookings, or loss of credits.
To the extent permitted by law, all sales are final and no refunds are provided for services, workshops, or items, unless in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
3. Bookings
All classes must be booked in advance via our website or our booking system.
Bookings may be made when bookings are open, subject to availability.
Walk-ins may be accepted at our discretion, subject to availability and completion of payment and required forms.
4. Cancellation & No‑Show Policy
To ensure fair access to classes, the following applies:
Group Classes (Public)
Group classes are scheduled sessions that are open to the general public and are not private sessions or private events. All group classes must be booked via our online booking system.
Early cancellation: Cancel at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time — no penalty (refund will be applied).
Late cancellation: Cancellations within 12 hours of the class start time will result in forfeiture of the class credit (no refund).
No-shows: Failure to attend without cancelling will result in forfeiture of the class credit (no refund).
Cancellations for group classes must be made through the booking system only. We do not accept cancellations by email, phone, text, or social media.
Private Sessions & Events
Private sessions and private events require a full upfront payment to confirm the booking.
Cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled session or event will result in full payment being forfeited (no refund). Other changes within 7 days of the scheduled session or event (including changes to date, time, location or format) may incur an additional administrative fee.
All private session and event cancellations must be made in writing to hello@onedaypilates.com.
Charges or deductions may be processed in accordance with these Terms.
5. Waitlists
If a class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist via our booking system.
If a space becomes available, you may be automatically added and notified.
If you are added to a class within the cancellation window and cannot attend, standard cancellation policies apply.
Please remove yourself from waitlists if you no longer wish to attend.
6. Late Arrival
For safety and respect to other participants: Please arrive at least 10 minutes early.
Entry may be refused if you arrive after the class has commenced.
Missed classes due to late arrival are treated as no‑shows.
7. Class Etiquette & Safety
You must follow all instructor guidance at all times.
Teachers may offer hands-on adjustments only with the participant’s consent. Participants retain the right to decline physical touch at any time.
Appropriate attire is required; socks may be required for hygiene and safety.
You must be 18 years or older to attend classes.
Children under 18 years of age are not permitted during classes unless explicitly stated.
We reserve the right to refuse participation if it is deemed unsafe including but not limited to misconduct, intoxication (with alcohol or drugs), medical grounds, or failure to comply with these terms and conditions.
8. Outdoor Classes & Environmental Risks
Some Oneday Pilates classes are conducted outdoors or in public/shared environments.
By attending outdoor classes, you acknowledge and accept additional risks including, but not limited to:
Weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, wind)
Uneven, slippery, or unstable surfaces
Public activity, noise, or interference
Exposure to animals, including dogs
Exposure to water and associated risks (e.g. drowning)
Limited shelter or amenities
Attendance at outdoor classes involves inherent risks and you acknowledge and accept those risks. We are not responsible for risks or incidents arising from factors outside our reasonable control.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify outdoor classes due to weather or safety concerns. If Oneday Pilates cancels a class, participants will receive a refund or reschedule option.
9. Health, Medical Disclosure & Fitness to Participate
You confirm that you are physically fit to participate or have obtained appropriate medical clearance.
You must inform your instructor prior to class of:
Injuries or medical conditions
Pregnancy or post‑natal status
Any changes to your health
Participation with injuries, medical conditions, or during pregnancy is undertaken at your own risk.
We reserve the right to request formal medical clearance at our discretion.
Our instructors are not medical professionals and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
10. Pregnancy & Post‑Natal Clients
Pregnant clients may participate up to 12 weeks with disclosure.
Post‑natal clients may only participate once medical clearance for exercise has been given by a medical professional.
An instructor has the right to request written clearance from a doctor prior to participation.
Class suitability and modifications remain at instructor discretion.
We may recommend private sessions where appropriate for safety reasons.
11. Assumption of Risk
Pilates and physical exercise involve inherent risks including, but not limited to, muscle strain, joint injury, dizziness, falls, or aggravation of existing conditions. By participating, you voluntarily assume all such risks.
Oneday Pilates is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings, or for any loss or damage to property, resulting from attendance at classes.
12. Liability Waiver & Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Oneday Pilates, its owner, instructors, contractors, and employees from any liability for injury, illness, death, or damage arising from participation in classes, use of any equipment/apparatus, or attendance at indoor or outdoor locations.
You acknowledge and agree that some classes are conducted at premises or facilities that are not owned, operated, or maintained by Oneday Pilates, and that responsibility for the condition and safety of those premises rests with the facility owner or operator. By attending, you accept any risks associated with the condition, maintenance, or safety of those premises.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oneday Pilates from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your participation, except where caused by our negligence.
14. Cancellations or Changes by Oneday Pilates
We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, relocate, or substitute classes or instructors at any time.
We reserve the right to cancel group classes if minimum participant numbers are not met.
If we cancel a class, you will receive a refund or reschedule option.
Oneday Pilates is not liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure is caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, government restrictions, venue unavailability, illness, or emergency circumstances.
15. Class Packs
Class packs are non‑refundable.
Expiry periods apply as stated at purchase.
Unused credits are forfeited after expiry.
16. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Vouchers are non‑refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Expiry dates apply in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
17. Media & Privacy
We respect your privacy and comply with Australian privacy laws.
Photos or videos may only be used for marketing purposes with your written consent.
Personal information is used solely for the purpose of providing our services and is not shared except where required by law or with service providers.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia.
We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to check our website for changes periodically.
